“Jack, a poor country boy and his mother Dame Trott are being forced out of the family home, so they trade the family cow for a handful of magic beans, which grows into an enormous beanstalk reaching up into the clouds. However, the twist in this pantomime, and it wasn’t a typo, is that not one but four beanstalks grow from the beans! So Jack and Jill have to climb all four, meeting lots of fun characters on the way in Toytown and Pantoland before finally finding themselves in the castle of the unfriendly giant, looking to save the harp and Hen.”
