Thank you to Ian for this week’s MWB
- (3)Redemption
Heb.9 v.27/28 – Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
Yes – The wages of sin is death, – and, if death was final, the unfairness of life would be total and evil would be the victor. But, no – man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, – – Judgment? – – Standing before the throne of God to make account of our life on this earth and, eventually, to pay the price. But – All have sinned – what hope have we? But, here we read – Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people – The price was paid on the cross for those who put their faith in him. – and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. –
Salvation – Forgiveness and peace with God – eternal life in Christ Jesus
There is the choice – Have you put your faith in what Jesus did for you on the cross? – Are you waiting for him to return?
