The Sunflower Fellowship is a charity which was set up in 2001 to build and fund Casa Valentin; a staffed home in Romania providing a holiday for sick or underprivileged children.
It also provides a Social programme; allowing poorer school, and kindergarten children a good meal and help with homework, all in a loving, Christian environment.
Teams from St Christopher’s have travelled to Romania several times to help at Casa Valentin and to organise holiday activities for children and their parents or carers.
Casa Valentin is close to the border with Ukraine and the centre has welcomed many refugees who have escaped violence and destruction in Ukraine. St Christopher’s has been supporting the Sunflower Fellowship with this work.
