The Holy Spirit Gives Eternal Life
Jesus said – – “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
I am often guilty of using too many words and therefore hindering what the Holy Spirit is actually saying in our hearts. Below I have put some verses from the Bible together to be read prayerfully. Before you read them, stop and ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you in the scriptures.
I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. – – If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him and we will come to him and make our home with him. – – You know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. – – If Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who lives in you. – – But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. – – Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. – – we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

the love of God,
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all.
